Issued in 1976, with a full English hallmark, to commerate the work of Leonardo da Vinci. It depicts da Vinci's portrait entitled Lady with an Ermine painted in 1485. The medallion measures 50mm diameter, 4mm deep and weighs just over 50 grammes. Superb detail of the figure in satin silver on a mirror background. In mint condition.
